Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of The Smart Personal Archiver (the “Service”), operated by Amr Hithem Abdalmalek Shams Ebrahem (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.

1. The Service

The Service is an online archive for documents. It stores the files you upload, extracts their text (including from scanned pages), suggests titles, categories and dates for you to confirm, and answers questions about your documents with references to the source pages. The Service is currently offered as an invitation-only beta, and features may change.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Each account has one private archive.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to the documents and information you upload (“Content”). You grant us a limited license to store, process and display your Content only to provide the Service to you, including sending it to the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your Content and do not use it to train AI models. You confirm that you have the right to upload your Content and that it does not violate the law or anyone else’s rights.

4. AI-generated results

Suggestions and answers are produced automatically and may be incomplete or wrong. Always check important information against the cited source document. The Service does not provide legal, financial, engineering or other professional advice.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to store or distribute unlawful material, attempt to access other users’ data, interfere with or overload the Service, reverse engineer it, or resell it without our permission. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. Plans, payment and cancellation

The Free plan includes one-time allowances. Paid plans are monthly subscriptions billed in US dollars; their allowances reset every billing period, and prices are shown on our pricing section. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the paid period. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and your data safe, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Keep your own copies of documents you cannot afford to lose. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue the Service we will give reasonable notice and a way to retrieve your documents.

8. Ending your account

You may stop using the Service and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. After closure your Content is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is”, and our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or data.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will notify you of material changes before they take effect; continuing to use the Service afterwards means you accept them.
